7/17/1992	Chandragupta I succeeded his father Ghatotkacha at Patliputra. He is known for establishing the Gupta dynasty. Gupta era begins.
8/9/1965	Pakistan chose to persist while the Indian Army Corps on the ceasefire line got down to neutralizing the Gibraltar Force. As a first step, main infiltration routes were blocked and Pakistan was forced out of the Haji Fir bulge (known to them as Bedori).

12/21/1974	Inssatvahana, the first establishment to give submarine training, was commissioned at Visakhapatnam.
9/29/1990	Central Government adopt a three-pronged strategy to create additional 30 lakh jobs outside the government sector over the next five years.
4/30/1863	Naval Force East India Comapny was merged with the British Naval Fleet.
