How two policemen braved knives to save 2 lives!

New Delhi, Sep 27 (IANS) After an argument turned ugly and converted into a bloody fight in Central Delhi's Anand Parbat area between local dhaba owners and their two customers, two policemen who were passing by intervened and saved the two men who were attacked with knives and other sharp objects on Sunday night.

According to police, two brothers Nilesh and Akash, the dhaba owners, attacked their two customers Gaurav and his friend Prem Sagar with sharp weapons and a knife over delivery of food. As the two victims looked for cover, the two accused chased and attacked them at around 9 p.m. on Saturday night. The incident was also captured in CCTV cameras in which two men are seen attacking the victims with sharp-edged weapons.

"Two policemen Head Constable Damodar and Constable Vijay Dudi who were passing by stopped after they heard cries for help. Without caring for their lives the two policemen not just saved the victims but also managed to apprehend the accused from the spot even as they had weapons in their hands. The brave act shown by the two policemen is exemplary," said Sanjay Bhatia, DCP Central Delhi.
