Hello,Does anybody know any money transfer service from INR to USD? I tried to find options online but most of the posts are very old and no longer valid. Few services are still valid but they require you to physically visit their centers\partner centers in India like ExTravelMoney.com; transferwise.com. One option I can think of is that I transfer the money to my friend\relative and they transfer to my account in the US but then these companies are asking for a lot of documentation from senders. I dont want them to be in trouble later by the Tax department in India. Another option is to transfer via your bank via wired transfer but it is costing a lot with a very low transfer rate and bank fee with US bank wired transfer fee. If anybody has done it before and can recommend me a better service. It would be highly appreciated.Thank you!
This page suggests 2 services, Transferwise and Instarem. I have already tried Transferwise and they are asking me to visit one of their Indias branches. I tried Instarem now and after creating a profile, they are allowing me to transfer the only USD to any other currency. So I guess, there is no other option than our own bank wired transfer.Thank you for your response ###### - Login To See Contact Information
