This event in one of the many humanitarian, non-profit free health camp, organized in Bothell, which benefited about 200 uninsured and under-insured people.
SOCH, a volunteer group conducted a mega free health camp on Nov 20th 2016 in association with Sikh Centre of Seattle, in Bothell Washington. Similar humanitarian health camps have been organized and executed at Sikh Centre of Seattle for last 3 years, biannually. Objective of this health camp is to provide free health check-ups, dental restoration and examination, vision tests, women health check-ups (mammograms) and free flu shots, to deserving humans from all walks of life. On an average 150 to 250 uninsured and under-insured people get benefited from each health camp. Our esteemed medical partners i.e. Susan G Komen, Swedish Medical, Molina Health, Medical Teams, Blood Works North West and Walgreen as well as community healthcare volunteers and general volunteers have made this camp such a big success.
SOCH (service of core humanity) is a volunteer group driven by its vision of creating an ecosystem in the community we live in to foster education, awareness, aid and welfare for the overall well-being of humanity at large without boundaries.
